Shigehiro Oishi
My research centers on culture, personality, and well-being. My major research goal is to uncover the causes and consequences of well-being. Specific research topics include feeling understood and misunderstood, relationship satisfaction, self-concepts, pro-community behaviors, goals and values, and emotion.
